Dongui University signed a mutual cooperation agreement with the Angelpeace Artgroup

Dongui University (President Gong Soon-jin) announced on the same day that it signed a mutual cooperation agreement with the Angelpeace Artgroup (Chairman Kim Choong-seok) in the conference room on the second floor of the main building on the 11th. 


The ceremony was attended by Dongui University President Gong Soon-jin, Vice Foreign Minister Jang Jong-wook, Foreign Cooperation Minister Lee Hong-bae, Kim Hee-eun, dean of the School of Arts and Sports Design, and Taekwondo faculty, and Kim Choong-seok, chairman of the International Zero Tari World Angel Piece Arts Foundation. With support from the private volunteer group International Rotary, the Angelpeace Artgroup operates professional art education programs such as chorus, dance, taekwondo, and English classes for teenagers in Busan free of charge.


Through the agreement, the two organizations decided to take the lead in internationalization through cooperative partnerships between the two organizations, along with various fusion cultural performance activities such as talent donation of universities' excellent resources. Along with the signing of the agreement, the Angel Peace Art Troupe designated and donated 50 million won to the Taekwondo Department of Dongui University for three years.


Kim Choong-seok, chairman of the Angelpeace Artgroup, said, "We are leading the art troupe with the slogan of starting the Korean Wave from Busan." "We hope that the talent donation of Dongui University Taekwondo Department will greatly help the development of Taekwondo as well as the development of Busan performance culture," he said.


"Based on the know-how of the chairman of the Busan International Dance Festival, we will create an international collaboration with spirit and passion to the youth of the art troupe," said Kim Hee-eun, dean of the University of Arts and Design.


Professor Kim Hak-deok, head of the Department of Taekwondo, said, "We will recognize that the age of Angel Peace Taekwondo demonstrators is the most important period of adolescence from 4th grade to 3rd grade in elementary school and guide them to achieve proper education with the belief that Taekwondo education will pave the way for personality to specialization process."
