Busan City has signed an agreement with the Angelpeace Artgroup to host and promote the 2030 Busan World Expo

Busan City (Mayor Park Hyung-joon) signed a business agreement with the World Angelpeace Artgroup (Chairman Kim Choong-seok) at the International Hall of City Hall on the 13th to attract and promote the 2030 Busan World Expo.


Angelpeace Artgroup is a youth art organization established in 2016 for the purpose of fostering future cultural and artistic talents in Busan. In the meantime, it has contributed to the local community by promoting Korea and Busan through domestic and foreign performances along with the production of artistic talent. In particular, since 2020, it has been taking the lead in raising the nation's desire to host the 2030 Busan World Expo beyond Busan citizens by holding more than four promotional performances to host to the 2030 Busan World Expo.


Busan Mayor Park Hyung-joon and Kim Choong-seok, chairman of the World Angelpeace Artgroup, attended the business agreement ceremony. In addition, officials including Do Yong-bok, special advisor to the World Angelpeace Artgroup, Shin Han-chun, Seo Jung-hee, and Jung Kyung-jin, special directors of the Angelpeace Artgroup, participated in the business agreement ceremony.


With the signing of this business agreement, the Busan Metropolitan Government and the Angelpeace Artgroup will cooperate in attracting the 2030 Busan World Expo in the future and directly support the 2030 Busan World Expo through domestic and foreign performances such as BIE General Assembly and BIE due diligence team performances.


Busan Mayor Park Hyung-joon said, "This agreement will help the Angelpeace Artgroup, the future leader of Busan's culture and arts and a future generation that will enjoy the 2030 Busan World Expo, officially participate in the bidding."
