There are 535 international Rotary districts in 237 countries around the world, and there are 19 districts in Korea alone. In addition, there are 100 subordinate organizations called unit clubs in Busan alone, with 5,000 members. 
Kim Choong-seok (58), who will serve as the head of the International Rotary 3661 (Busan) district for a year from the 1st of next month, said on the 27th, "It is regrettable that it is not well known compared to the size and role of the international Rotary."

The headquarters of Rotary International (RI) is located in Chicago, United States. 535 districts around the world are given random unique identification numbers. Busan is "3661", and RI3661, combined with the English abbreviation of International Rotary, has become an abbreviation for Busan District. Governor Kim said, "It is a unique identification number, but it has no choice but to be a difficult number for the public," and vowed, "We will make efforts to promote international rotations such as advertisements and increase membership by spending our private money during our term."

President Kim's voice explaining the international rotary was full of pride. "If you want to build social virtue and succeed, I advise young businessmen to become our members," he said. The Busan district is the only one in the country that specializes in domestic and foreign business center functions. 5,000 members of the Busan district can share business information with members of 237 countries around the world and 19 domestic districts. Governor Kim said, "It would have been easier to find a partner if I had known such a network when I was young." Kim runs COFax, a special feed manufacturer with annual sales of 150 billion won, and Ilbio, a bio-material company. KNC Trading, which focuses on shipbuilding plant equipment, is also his business.

He has spent 1.5 billion won on Rotary over the past 17 years as a general member, chairman, district executive and vice president of the club. As one thing, what Governor Kim began with an emphasis on was the creation of the Angel Peace Art Group, which is located in the YMCA building in Choryang-dong, Jung-gu, Busan on July 1 last year. Previously, the final 35 students were selected by the front-line school by recommending third-year elementary school to second-year middle school students who have talent and talent in entertainment. They are learning arts such as Korean dance and traditional musical instruments from professional directors and trainers in each field with the goal of playing four roles per person. All activities, including musical instruments, that occur in this process are free of charge. Governor Kim said, "We will also provide scholarships of 1.5 million won for the best students, 1 million won for the best students, and 500,000 won for the general members every year. All members also receive the privilege of studying abroad in the Rotary District, he said. "The final goal is to promote Busan and Korea by advancing to overseas stages." The art troupe will hold its first official performance at KBS's Busan Concert Hall on the day of Kim's inauguration on the 1st of next month. So far, President Kim has poured 670 million won of his private wealth into the art troupe as chairman. Governor Kim said, "There are still many members who do not understand the role and identity of Rotary. We will produce and distribute mobile rotary education videos for them, he said. "We will also use them for promotion to raise the ranking of donations and members by branch, which ranks 14th and 15th in Korea, to the top." It is also my goal to confirm the hosting of the 2027 International Rotary World Championships during my term, he said.
